HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Yes that is right Happily Ever After.  I have a new Mommy and Daddy!!!!!!!!! I am so excited I don't think I will be able to stand it.  The nice humans that the original Mommy and Daddy (now Auntie and Uncle) had me stay with the past couple of days have decided to keep me.  They are an amazing loving couple and they have this other dog that has taught me to play tug of war.  I have so much room to run around in and the Daddy really loves me.  He is probably my favorite....but I love them both.  I do have to learn to listen to Mommy but I am still learning and they are willing to take the time to teach me.  They are so amazing.  I even saw Auntie hug Mommy because...I think she was so happy that they are giving me a forever home.

Auntie and Uncle have agreed to be my puppy sitter when Mommy and Daddy go out of town and can not take me and my new sister.  Which is really AWESOME because I still get to see them.  My situation started out really bad.  A bad human through me away like trash and then I met some amazing people and they were very determined to find me a good home and they did.  Actually, they found me a GREAT home.

So for the sad part this will be my last post.  However as Uncle says it is bittersweet.  Sad because I won't be in touch anymore but overwhelmingly happy because I have a new home.  So THANK YOU so much everyone for loving me and helping me find this amazing home.  Thank you for saving me.  Thank you for showing me that humans are actually really kind and generous.  So good night everyone and farewell.  Remember your hearts were big enough to save a puppy left to die you can love each other too.  Be kind and caring towards each other.Remember me with a smile on your heart because "you done good".  And I am the happiest little puppy ever.

New home??????

So this is a little late but things have just been crazy.  Mommy and Daddy took me to this REALLY nice family on Saturday.  The new Daddy was a little worried, he reminds me a lot of Mommy1....very cautious but they left me there to see if I can get along with their dog and be OK in the house while they work.  I love the home it has lots of toys and lots of space for me to be a little crazy in.  I am really nervous though, could they be MY forever family?  This is going to be short because I am trying to fit in and find my forever home.  Just keep your fingers crossed, pray, send good karma or however you do it send it my way.  Mommy and Daddy 1 want me to have a forever home so I can work on my manners.

Thank you to everyone who "loves" me and is helping to take care of me including trying to find a good home for me.  It is so nice to know that my human counterparts care so much about me.  It helps (a little) me feel at ease.  I will learn....quickly....that I am a good girl and can be loved.

First my Doctor visit

So I had my first Doctor visit on Thursday.  Mommy had to drive to Gaithersburg to get me first because the tall one's Doctor's appointment went a little longer then expected on Wednesday.  I was REALLY scared.  I don't like new places and new people scare me.  Mommy and Daddy think the "other" people that had me may have been really mean to me.  Other then having round worms, which apparently is normal for puppies I am really healthy.  I have a good heart and good lungs. Dr. Ahalt thought I was really healthy for what I have been through.  It scared me when he tried to look in my ears so I nipped a bit at him but he was really patient with me.  Dr. Ahalt thinks I am about 12 weeks old so I got two shots, Distemper and Rabies so now I have a tag like Bella and Jules.  I guess SOME people can be really nice I match the other dogs in my life.  So for the worms Dr. Ahalt gave me some medicine and that is suppose to help.  No other dogs can get it especially if they are already on deworming pills.

I may not be full blown pit I may be a mix.  But Mommy still thinks I am a pit.  I may have some Pyrenees and I apparently hop like a Jack Russell.  The Pyrenees gives me my six toes.  Daddy says my jaws and my strength is definitely from a Pit.  I really don't care what I am as long as the humans love me for the way that I am.  It is going to take some time to figure out what I want to be like just right now I want a family of my own.

I came home from being away from Mommy and Daddy #1 for a couple of days and I was so excited to see Bella and Jules.  I got to see the boy too.  There was another dog in Papap's car and he scared me because all he did was bark at me.

So that is my first visit to the Doctor hopefully I will continue to grow and learn and the new family that wants me will be happy with who I am.

New home

So I have been away from the main Mommy and Daddy this week, they have had to take care of somethings with the two boys in the house.  The tall one had surgery and the little one well he needs constant attention.  Mommy is also very busy getting ready for her Relay for Life on Friday night.  So, I have been staying with my other foster parents, who are also just as wonderful.  They have a small boy that I like to play with too.  The little humans are just my size to play with but anyone that wants to play I love you for wanting to play.  I am told Mommy will be picking me up tomorrow for my first doctor appointment.  I am a little nervous I have never been taken care of so well but shots and finding out if something is wrong with me scares me.  Please everyone think of me during my doctor appointment tomorrow.  I am so glad that all of my foster parents want to take such good care of me.  They also are doing their best to find a good, loving home for me.  I love to hear what they are looking for me.  They care so much about me.  I don't think I ever had this.

I have started to TRY and eat normal.  I usually "scarf" my food down, so quickly in fact I don't even taste it.   But they are showing me that I don't have to fight for my food.  I like that.  Oh and by the way Daddy has taught me to sit...for a treat but I have learned if there is a treat I will sit.  I am learning that humans aren't as uncaring as the ones that put me on the street. My Mommy's wishes they could through that person from the car.  My foster parents think I am very smart and a quick learner.  I really want to please them.

All of my parents and all of the humans who are taking care of me....well they are really taking care of me.  I love the love that I have.  I am still very playful but my Mommy's say it is because I am still a puppy but because I learn so quickly I will be a good dog for anyone who wants to love me.

I just wanted to let all my humans who are supporting my Mommy's and Daddy's take care of me and try and find me a forever home that I am doing very well.  I hope that I soon have a forever home like Bella, Jules and Jetta.  Those dogs have been great role models and I hope I can be just like them when I grow up.

My short story

Hi my name...now....is Besi.  I was named after the company of people that saved me.  I was thrown from a car on to the streets of DC.  This kind person and some of his pack got out of their truck and got me to safety.  I was accepted with loving arms by the company and sort of adopted as the company mascot.  The one man I will call Daddy and his family have taken me in and are working on training, vet visits and figuring me out.  They also want to help me find a forever home where I will be loved and taken care of.

You see they already have 2 dogs and 2 kids well one is actually quite tall and almost an adult and then of course Mommy and Daddy.  I don't think they are ready for a third dog.  Their house is a little small for all of us too since they are thinking I am going to get big.  The older dog, Jules is not too impressed with me I think she is just too old to care.  The younger dog likes to play for a little bit but grows weary of my nipping and runs to Mommy to save her.  All the dogs are girls and I do pretty good with them.  Although, I want to be the Top Dog in the house and Mommy won't allow it.  She runs a pretty tight ship.

So, I heard them talking the other night they think the person that bred me and then tossed me out like yesterday's trash didn't like the fact that I have 2 extra toes on both my back legs.  They are thinking since that mean person couldn't get top dollar for me because of my deformity they just got rid of me.  Mommy says it just is more of me to love.

This is my story.  I am going to add some pictures and some personality information so if you know of anyone who wants a fun loving, playful, smart possible Pit puppy.  Someone who will love me, train me, and take good care of me, please let Mommy or Daddy know.

I got a lot of love to give someone or an entire family.

Besi.
